Backfill and Paste Fill
2021 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.
Preparation of a Conceptual Study (including CAPEX and OPEX) covering the selection and identification of the best option for the location of the Paste Fill Preparation Plant for the Cuiabá mine. The study also included an assessment of the most suitable transportation system between the existing Beneficiation Plant and the future Preparation Plant, including alternatives for pumping tailings from the current Filtration Plant to the Preparation Plant, pumping paste from the Preparation Plant and/or transporting tailings (from the Filtration Plant) by truck to the Preparation Plant (in this option located to the south of the dam).
2020 - YAMANA GOLD - JACOBINA MINERAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO.
Preparation of a Conceptual Study to evaluate the use of Pastefill and/or Backfill to meet the expansion of existing mines to 8,500 t/d (dry basis), covering the conceptual designs of the CIP Tailings Classification Plant, Fill Storage and Backfill Preparation Plants for the João Belo Norte and Morro dos Ventos Sul mines, including the determination of CAPEX and OPEX.
2017 - PA GOLD MINERAÇÃO E METALURGIA S.A
Preparation of a Conceptual Study including the general design of the “Fill Preparation and Distribution Plant” for the Paraíba Project underground mine (Backfill System for hydraulic filling of the Paraíba and Brecha bodies), also including CAPEX and OPEX.
2010 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.
Conceptual study including proposals for increasing the flow rate of the dewatering system (pumping in a “cascade” system) and underground drainage at the Cuiabá mine, including the determination of CAPEX.
2007 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.
Preparation of the BASIC PROJECT FOR THE PILOT PLANT FOR PREPARING FILL – classified tailings with a solids concentration of 70% by weight, used as a hydraulic filler in ore bodies that have already been mined – to be implemented at the Lamego mine.
