Mine Dewatering

2016 - MINERAÇÃO SERRA GRANDE S.A.

Preparation of a Technical-Economic Study (Trade-off) presenting options for pumping water from the New Mine to the Metallurgical Plant (raw water for use in the Hydrometallurgical Plant), including a technical-economic definition of the best option.

2012 / 2013 - VOTORANTIM METAIS - VAZANTE MINA

Revision of the Conceptual Studies for deepening the Vazante mine, including the EB 140, EB 297/2 and EB 347 pumping stations, the Emergency Path (Vertical Shaft for access to EB 140) and modification of the Morro da Usina Shaft, updating the implementation schedule and revision of Capex. Service carried out in partnership with “SHAFT ENGENHARIA E SERVIÇOS”.

2012 / 2013 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Conceptual study of the infrastructure required to deepen the Cuiabá mine, including: new mine dewatering system, layout of the new workshop, transportation of personnel through the vertical shaft and along the mine, distribution of service and drinking water, compressed air, crushing, distribution of backfill, power supply and distribution, automation, evaluation of the existing cable car to meet increased production, Capex and Opex.

2011 / 2012 - VOTORANTIM METAIS - VAZANTE MINE

Preparation of the “Basic Project – Phase FEL 3” for the pumping station of the Extremo Norte open pit (EB 615), which receives the water pumped from the underground mine of the former Masa – in addition to the contribution of water from the pit itself – and whose discharge is directed into the Ouro Podre stream, also including the EB’s located inside the mine at levels 522 and 347.

2011 - NCL BRASIL LTDA.

Conceptual Study (FEL 2) of the drainage system for the “Project 118” underground mine located in the Carajás Mineral Province, Paraupébas, Pará – owned by VALE (copper ore) – including two pumping stations with slurry pumps associated in series, nominal flow of 360 m³/h.

2010 - ALCOA WORLD ALUMINA BRASIL LTDA.

Technical assessment and diagnosis of the existing raw water system of the Juruti mine (bauxite) in the state of Pará, covering the intake, booster pumping station and hydraulic analysis of the profile and routing of the existing pipeline (9.2 km long), aiming to detect problems that resulted in a reduction in the flow obtained, in relation to the original conditions foreseen in the project.

2009 - VALE S.A. - SOSSEGO MINE

Evaluation and sizing of the pumping of the “Open Pit” of the Sequeirinho System, including proposals to increase the flow rate to around 1200 m³/h, using the existing pumps and pipes.
