ENGINEERING PROJECTS FOR MINING

2023/2025 - PAN AMERICAN SILVER - JACOBINA MINERAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO.

Preparation of detailed projects for implementation in “Phase II – Optimization – Gate I” at the Jacobina Plant, as follows:

• Preparation of the Basic and Detailed Project for the expansion of the plant’s process compressed air system, including a new volumetric compressor.
• Electrical Project – Including a survey of the loads to be connected to the existing substations, notably 860-SE-01 (Elution Substation), including the repowering of motors (the subject of the studies described above by PROJE), the loads of equipment subject to modifications by JMC’s operational area and loads relating to the new projects being implemented, including Backfill for the mines.

CUIABÁ PLANT

• Multidisciplinary engineering services to prepare an executive project for the implementation of “DOUBLE CYCLONING OF WASTE” from flotation at the Cuiabá Plant in Sabará, MG.
• Multidisciplinary engineering services to develop a CONCEPTUAL STUDY to implement a new fines containment basin at the Cuiabá Gold Plant.
• Engineering services to prepare a basic project to implement modifications to the Cuiabá Wastewater Treatment Plant, including new interconnection pipes with the metallurgical plant, with a view to independent operation of the tailings dam (to be decommissioned). Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.
• Multidisciplinary engineering services to develop a CONCEPTUAL STUDY to assess the feasibility and cost options for changing the gravimetric screen located in the municipality of Sabará, MG.

CDS PLANT (Córrego do Sítio)

• Basic and detailed multidisciplinary project for the “INDIVIDUALIZATION OF THE CIRCULATING LOAD OF THE MILL” implemented at the CDS II Plant, located in Santa Bárbara – MG.
• Development of Executive Engineering for the refurbishment of the tailings DETOX system at the CDS II plant in Santa Bárbara, Minas Gerais, owned by AGA.

2021 - BEMISA

Preparation of Basic Engineering for the Process Plant and Detailed Engineering (Infrastructure and Civil Discipline) for the Água Azul Project located in Pará, producing 100,000 t/a, including the issue of technical documentation related to the Hydrometallurgical Plant for the beneficiation of auriferous ore (conceptual arrangements for the areas to be expanded, process flowcharts, design and process criteria, energy demand study, conceptual engineering flowchart), CAPEX and OPEX.

2021 - YAMANA GOLD - JACOBINA MINERAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO.

Preparation of the Basic Project for the Cyanide Neutralization Plants (DETOX), the Fill Storage Pile, the Backfill Preparation Plant for the Morro dos Ventos Central Mine, the Preparation Plants for the João Belo North and Morro dos Ventos South Mines, the Copper Sulphate Preparation and Hydrogen Peroxide Distribution, units that are part of the JMC Backfill Project.

2020 - YAMANA GOLD - JACOBINA MINERAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO.

Preparation of the Basic and Detailed Project for the Plant for the Preparation of NaCN in solution, from NaCN received in briquettes.

2019 - YAMANA GOLD - JACOBINA MINERAÇÃO E COMÉRCIO.

Preparation of a Conceptual Study (PFS) for the expansion of the Jacobina Plant to 8,500 tpd (gold ore beneficiation), located in Bahia, including the issuance of all technical documentation (conceptual arrangements of the areas to be expanded, process flowcharts, design and process criteria, energy demand study, conceptual engineering flowchart, preliminary project implementation schedule, CAPEX and OPEX).

2019 - BEMISA

Preparation of a Conceptual Study (basic design) analyzing the feasibility of implementing the Novo Mundo Project located in Mato Grosso, production of 84,000 t/a, covering the issuance of all technical documentation related to the Hydrometallurgical Plant for processing gold ore (conceptual arrangements of the areas to be expanded, process flowcharts, design and process criteria, energy demand study, conceptual engineering flowchart), CAPEX and OPEX.

2019 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Detailed multidisciplinary project of the “Sulphation Project” of the Queiroz Plant, including the processing of calcined material to obtain Ferric Sulphate. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2019 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Detailed multidisciplinary project of an “Intensive Leaching”, including the installation of an Acacia Reactor model CS 2000 and Electrodeposition Cell for the Córrego do Sítio II Hydrometallurgical Plant. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2018 - SONA MINERAÇÃO (CAPITAL MINERAÇÃO)

Conceptual Study including the basic design, conceptual plant arrangements, CAPEX and OPEX survey, aiming at the comparison of two process route options, including a HYDROMETALLURGICAL PLANT (CIL Circuit) and a second option of HEAP LEACHING, both sized for the processing of 700,000 t/a of gold tailings in an area located in Pará. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2017 - MINERAÇÃO SERRA GRANDE S.A.

Multidisciplinary “Basic Project” for the installation of the Third Centrifugal Concentrator for the Crixás Hydrometallurgical Plant, including CAPEX preparation. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2017 - BRIOGOLD - CIA. GOIÂNIA DE OURO (PILAR DE GOIÁS)

Preparation of a “Basic and Executive Project” for a Wastewater Treatment Plant, nominal flow rate of 40 m³/h. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2016 / 2017 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A. – CDS II

Multidisciplinary “Conceptual Study, Basic and Executive Project” of a “Tailgate Leaching” circuit for gold ore at the Córrego do Sítio Unit (CDS II), located in Santa Bárbara – MG. The project was implemented and has been in operation since August/2017. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

Technical evaluation (Due Diligence), including preparation of CAPEX estimate, of the mechanical and electrical process equipment, existing in the Hydrometallurgical Plant of REINARDA MINERAÇÃO LTDA. – TROY RESOURCES NL Group –, located in Rio Maria, in the state of Pará.

2015 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Preparation of a Basic and Detailed Design for safety protection (structural and with steel cable mesh) to be installed below the Cable Car Line at the Exit and Entrance of the Loading Station in Cuiabá and in two sections (curves) along the road that gives access to level 3 of the mine.

Conceptual Study of a Sodium Cyanide Destruction Plant (DETOX – Hydrometallurgical Plant Tailing Detoxification System). Service in partnership with “TESTWORK PROCESS DEVELOPMENT”.

Conceptual Study and preparation of the Basic Design of Gravimetry and CIL circuit of the Hydrometallurgical Plant (gold processing) of the “Premier Mine” project, located in Crixás, state of Goiás, with route and Process Engineering defined by CLEVELAND.

2012 - MINERAÇÃO SERRA GRANDE S.A.

Conceptual Study and preparation of Basic Project including “Merril Crowe x CIP/elution/electrodeposition” trade-off for the metallurgical plant (gold processing), located in the city of Crixás, state of Goiás. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2011 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Basic and Executive Project for the installation of a Gravimetric Concentrator and a new Vibrating Screen, including all peripheral adaptations required to integrate them into the existing grinding and gravimetry circuit (Cuiabá Plant, Sabará, Minas Gerais).

2010 - MINERADORA NOSSO SENHOR DO BONFIM

Preparation of the Basic Project for a Heap Leaching Plant – Bonfim Project – aimed at recovering gold from the tailings of the Scheelite plant, to be built in Lages, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte.

2009 - KINROSS

Basic and Detailed Design of improvements to the reagent circuit of the SAG Grinding of the Paracatu Process Plant. Service in partnership with “TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS”.

2008 - SRK CONSULTING ENGINEERS AND SCIENTISTS

Participation in “DUE DILIGENCE” throughout the sale process of LONDON MINING BRASIL, together with TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS, responsible for the evaluations of the Iron Ore Beneficiation Units, covering existing facilities, production programs, projections of expected expansions and respective implementation cost estimates (CAPEX).

2007 - MMX MINERAÇÃO E METÁLICOS S.A.

Participation in “DUE DILIGENCE” in the evaluation process of MINERAÇÃO J. MENDES, working together with TESTWORK DESENVOLVIMENTO DE PROCESSOS, responsible for the evaluations of the Iron Ore Beneficiation Units – J. MENDES, SOMISA and GLOBAL – including analysis of production programs, projections of expected expansions and respective implementation cost estimates (CAPEX).

2003 / 2004 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.

Direct participation in the study group providing technical support to the ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI team, during the Feasibility Study for the Expansion of the Cuiabá Mine, including a new Ore Treatment Plant, with a capacity of 4000 t/d and mine infrastructure.
