2022/2025 - UMS GROUP (United Mining Services Group – South Africa)
Validation of the Pilar Project of Mineração Caraíba, located in Bahia (ERO COPPER), prepared by UMS, which includes the implementation of a Vertical Shaft (1500 m deep Production Well), verifying and adapting UMS’s project to Brazilian standards (ABNT and NR).
2020 - MOSAIC FERTILIZANTES P&K LTDA. - TAQUARI VASSOURAS MINE
Performance analysis and study of options for new traction and balance ropes for the Friction Winderes (Koepe Pulley) installed in Shafts I (production) and II (services) at Taquari Vassouras, including evaluation of the Winder operating conditions (RMS power and cycle), analysis of the current average useful life of the traction ropes, evaluation of the current conditions of the Shafts, resizing of the ropes and new specifications for the traction and balance ropes, including the issue of calculation and descriptive memos for each case analyzed.
2019 - ANGLOGOLD ASHANTI CÓRREGO DO SÍTIO MINERAÇÃO S.A.
Detailed design for the implementation of modifications to the two dosing chutes installed in the Vertical Shaft Loading Station at the Cuiabá Mine in Sabará, aiming to improve material flow conditions.
2019 - MOSAIC FERTILIZANTES P&K LTDA - TAQUARI VASSOURAS MINE
Preparation of a Basic and Detailed Project for a new anchorage for the Skips guide cables at the bottom of Shaft I (Production Shaft), including structural dimensioning and detailing of the fixing of the structures and consoles to the shaft wall.
2018 - MILPLAN ENGENHARIA S.A
Basic and detailed design of a three-deck structural platform for use in equipping the vertical shaft of the emergency road to access EB-140 at the Vazante mine. The platform is moved by Winderes and makes it possible to assemble supports for trays and the respective electrical cables, various supports and the respective mine dewatering pipes (four Ø 24” lines) and a ventilation pipe with a 1.5m diameter.
2017 - NEXA RESOURCES (VOTORANTIM METALS) - VAZANTE MINE
Detailed design of items for the Vertical Shaft (Emergency Path for the EB-140) at the Vazante mine, including sizing of the monorail in the shaft collar, a device for lowering and lifting parts down the shaft (Cross-head), a study for lowering the engine of the main pump of the EB-140 (1600 hp) and technical analysis of proposals for specific components for equipping the shaft.
2016 / 2017- NEXA RESOURCES (VOTORANTIM METALS) - VAZANTE MINE
- Detailed design for the modification of the bottom of the vertical shaft (emergency path for the EB-140) at the Vazante mine, including the sizing of guide rails and metal structures for anchoring the guide rails.
- Detailed Design including the selection and sizing of new traction and balance ropes, issuing of Technical Specifications for rope attachments, Deflector Pulleys, verification of bearings and sizing of the pneumatic brake system for the Ø 2.34 m “Fallgatter” Friction Winder in the Morro da Usina Vertical Shaft at the Vazante mine.
2018 - NEXA RESOURCES (VOTORANTIM METAIS) - MORRO AGUDO MINE
Studies and Detailed Design including calculation, selection and sizing of new traction and balance ropes, issue of Technical Specifications for rope attachments, Deflector Pulleys, calculation and verification of the drive and disc brake system of the Ø 2.40 m “Nordberg” Friction Winder in the Vertical Shaft of the Morro Agudo mine.
2014 / 2015 - VOTORANTIM METAIS - VAZANTE MINE
- Preparation of the Executive Project for the Emergency Path – Vertical Service Shaft (540 m deep) for access to the future Pumping Station called EB 140, to serve the deepening of the Vazante mine.
- The project included the design and calculation of the Headgear, Winder House, pipes and supports along the shaft, installations for the Main Winder and Auxiliary Winder, temporary Pumping Stations, Service Stations and Loading Station.
2011 / 2012 - MINERAÇÃO CARAÍBA
Preparation of the Executive Project for the Subvertical Shaft (around 570 m deep), responsible for activities related to the Mechanical, Piping, Systems and Steel Structures disciplines, including dimensioning of the Headgear, traction, balance and guide cables, skips loading station, crushing and pumping system at the bottom of the mine. Service in partnership with “SHAFT ENGENHARIA E SERVIÇOS”.
2008 - VALE S.A. - “ALEMÃO” PROJECT
Preparation of the Conceptual Studies (PHASE FEL 2) for the mine’s Production Shaft, together with SHAFT ENGENHARIA E SERVIÇOS, developing the activities of the “Mechanics”, “Systems” and “Piping” disciplines, including sizing the Friction Winder with an installed power of 6500 kW and the mine’s pumping system with a nominal flow of 1500 m³/h.
2003 - VALE S.A. - TAQUARI VASSOURAS MINE
- Technical Economic Study to compare alternatives for upgrading the Friction Winder at the Taquari Vassouras Production Shaft (potash mine).
- Project to modify the ore loading station at the Production Shaft.
